Remembering Mowzey Radio: Here are 6 things you didn't know about the late singer

Singer Mowzey Radio was announced dead on February 1st, 2018, by his close family.

He succumbed to severe head injuries following a bar brawl in Entebbe days after celebrating his 35th birthday.

Today, Ugandan continue to mourn and celebrate the fallen star whose untimely demise shocked the country.

Weasel, his Goodlyf crew mate, on January 25th, hosted several people at the listening party of Radio's posthumous album called 'Moses The Great'.

Here are some of the many things his fans didn't know about him.

Loved children

Mowzey Radio, born Moses Nakintije Sseikbogo, loved children. He was always jolly around children. He left behind three adorable children from two baby mamas. It's believed that the late singer was constructing a school for orphans.

He was a psychologist

The later Goodlyfe crew member completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology making him a psychologist -- a profession he sacrificed to focus on music.

Radio worked as a barber

Radio started as a barber in the small town of Ndeeba before he became a household name in the music industry.

He started as Chameleone's backup artiste

His humbleness and amazing melodic voice, the later singer was introduced to Jose Chameleone by Chagga. In fact, Radio recorded his first songs 'Jeniffer' and 'Sweet Lady' at Leone Island which is owned by Chameleone

Avid reggae love

Radio's close friends say he was an avid reggae music lover and believe it's what attracted the late singer to start doing music.

He was one of the best students in high school

Mowzey Radio's former high school classmate described him as a smart student. He says Radio was always among best five students in class and was very good in Literature, English and music.
